MASTERS THESIS - 2011
I have always used art as a tool for dissecting identity, dependencies, vulnerabilities, and relationships (physical, sexual, and emotional). The images and objects that result function as silent witnesses to those explorations and archive my many changes, achievements, fallbacks, and developments.

This collection integrates personalized symbols for security, concealment, and strength while using intuition as a guide for self-discovery. Letting the subconscious and intuition dictate the combinations of images and symbols, has the potential for revealing more honest, and therefore, more vulnerable work.

Throughout this journey, I have found more in myself than expected and discovered many beautiful complexities I hadn't noticed before. While my journey in this alternative place may not have brought me where I had expected, it has fueled a shedding which will bring me to an even more rewarding place than where I've been steeping these past two years.
